I was in town to shoot a wedding back in 2015 - or was it 2016? - and found the local dive. I love dive bars. That may become a personal project with me: visit dive bars, remain sober, make images.
Reserve, NM is the kind of town big enough for cellular service, albeit weak, but small enough to where everyone knows each other. Many of the young men are smoke jumpers. At night, you have to drive with caution on the two-lane road that goes through town once you are past Reserve's limits: no cellphone service, pitch black, giant elk.
